Bhante Thalangama Devananda is the Abbot and Meditation Instructor of Indiana Buddhist Temple which he founded in 2003. The temple which spreads Buddhist education, morality and charity was featured in MSNBC – Faith in America:

It serves Northern Indiana focusing on the Fort Wayne known as the City of Churches with a population of 615,077, a Christian dominant demographic area. School groups and Sunday schools from churches frequently visit it for cross cultural discussions.

He is also the Deputy Incumbent of Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte Rajamaha Viharaya, Kotte, Sri Lanka and the Lankarama Buddhist Institute, Los Angeles, CA.
