Sun@BGF: The Buddha as a Therapist
September 2 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
2600 years ago, when much of the world was still in the dark ages, there were no trained counsellors. Yet the Buddha, with his wisdom and great compassion could counsel kings, monastics and laity who faced various issues. He used different techniques from analytical to experiential, according to their intellectual and emotional capacities and led them out of grief and suffering and some attained liberation.
