Phra Khru Phavananukit (Lai Thīpadhammo)
Phra Khru was ordained as a novice monk at Wat Nong Pah Pong with Luang Por Chah as his preceptor in 1979. He received full ordination as a monk on 23 February 1980 at Wat Pa Wiwek, the 7th branch monastery of Wat Nong Pah Pong. Phra Khru is 64 years old with 43 Vassa. He is currently residing at Wat Pa Khantidham, Ban Hong District, Lamphun Province, which is the 47th branch monastery of Nong Pah Pong.
Ajahn Dton (PhraMaha TiraPanyo)
Ajahn PhraMaha TiraPanyo was born among family members of doctors and engineers, in Chonburi Thailand 1967. He graduated as the top medical student for his year in the whole country. After his graduation, he continue with his medical studies and research and completed his PhD in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He was awarded ” The Best of Hospitality” prize by the American Board of Pediatrics from Children’s Hospital of Michigan. After attending a meditation retreat in the USA under the guidance of Ajahn Jayasaro, a former abbot of Wat Pah NanaChat, he realized that the monastic life was what he had been looking for. He returned to Thailand and went forth to ordain at Wat Pah NanaChat. He graduated in Buddhist Pali Language Grade Three, granting him the honorific title of a “Maha”. He actively teaches meditation at hospitals, government offices and schools in the vicinity of Wat Pah Bun Lom.
