🌕 This holy month of Vesākha, let us commemorate the profound legacy of the Lord Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha, and celebrate the vibrant cultural heritage of Buddhism throughout the millennia through a captivating collection of paintings by Bhante Uttamo from Nepal.

🙏🏻 Come and support this meritorious Fund-Raising project to build a new Vihara in Nepal in support of the late Sayadaw Jnanapurnik Mahathero for his strong commitment to improving education and the living conditions of those within the monastery and the surrounding community.

About the Artist

Bhante Uttamo, also known as Rabindra Dangol, born March 9, 1986, in Kathmandu, Nepal, was ordained at 11 under Sayadaw Jnanapurnik. Known for his talent in oil painting, he has showcased Buddhist-inspired art since 2006. Notable exhibitions include the Buddha & Peace Art Exhibition (2013), National Art Exhibition (2015), and Indo-Nepal Art Exhibition (2017).

Alongside his artistic pursuits, he has dedicated himself to Dhamma propagation and community service, organizing programs, retreats, and relief efforts, including post-earthquake and pandemic relief. Bhikkhu Uttamo’s compassion extends to providing scholarships, donations, and support to impoverished families, embodying selfless service to the Buddhasasana.
