About Bhante Dr. Gangodawila

Bhante Dr Gangodawila Chandima is an Associate Editor of the Journal of International Buddhist Studies at the Buddhist Research Institute of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University in Thailand and a research scholar at the Ronin Institute in USA.
His research focuses on Theravada Sutta, Abhidhamma & Buddhist ethnics. He was formerly a research fellow at the Centre for Studies in Religion and Society (CSRS) of the University of Victoria, Canada.
His most recent article “The Function and Contemporary Role of Sikkapaccakkhana (Abandoning the Training Rules) in the Pali Canon” was published in the “Journal of Buddhist Ethics” under the Pennsylvania State University Press, USA.
