Sun@BGF Online – Humanistic Buddhism during Turbulent Times by Venerable You Deng
Humanistic Buddhism is part of Mahayana ‘Great Vehicle’ school of Buddhism; it encourages one to cultivate and integrate the Buddha’s teachings of tolerance, loving-kindness, compassion, joy and equanimity into our daily life for the benefit of all beings. It is to build a harmonious society through helping those in need, radiating those virtues from within ourselves to our family, society, nation and the world at large.
