About Bhikku Sujato
Bhikkhu Sujato or Bhante Sujato is an Australian monk ordained into the Thai Forest Lineage of Ajahn Chah in Thailand. He founded the Santi Forest Monastery in 2003 which he turned it into a nun’s monastery in 2012, when he returned to live in Bodhinyana. Together with Ajahn Brahm, his teacher, he was involved in re-establishing the Theravada Bhikkhuni Ordination.
In 2005, He also co-founded the Buddhist website Sutta Central and undertook the task of creating English translations of the four Nikāyas from 2015 to 2018 and published it on Sutta Central.
In 2019, Bhante Sujato moved to Sydney to establish Lokanta Vihara (the Monastery at the End of the World) from where this talk is being broadcasted.
