Speaker Profile:
Tana Dungsey Tulku Pema Rinpoche, is the holder of both Yelpa Kagyu and Hungkara lineages, whom he inherited from his father, Tana Tulku Sherab Tharchin Rinpoche. Rinpoche was recognized by His Holiness, the 16th Karmapa as the great master Dolpopa. As a child, Rinpoche trained and received many teachings from great teachers including Rinpoche’s own father. Later Rinpoche joined Karma Shree Nalanda Institute in Rumtek at age of 18 and then Nyagyur Nyingma Institute to study Buddhist philosophy with many learned masters. Rinpoche completed the 3 year retreat under the guidance of His Holiness Tai Situ Rin.
