About Bro. Benny Liow

Dr. Phang Cheng Kar (M.D.) is a consultant psychiatrist & mindfulness-based therapist at Sunway Medical Centre. He is the developer of MINDFULGym, the first evidence-based structured mindfulness program for stress reduction and wellness in Malaysia. Besides being an avid speaker, he is also a prolific writer having published several books. He is also the current president of KL Buddhist Mental Health Association & Malaysia Association for Mindfulness Practice & Research.

    The President of the Malaysia Association for Mindfulness Practice & Research (MMPR), Dr Phang is also a Certified teacher of the .b Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP), a course designed for introducing mindfulness to teenagers.
