Prof Dr Freedom Y.K. Leung, Department of Psychology, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, says that Sakyamuni Buddha was probably the first psychologist in the current human history. In this sharing session, Sis Miyen will explore basic tenets of Buddhism that have many commonalities with modern psychology e.g. the four Brahma Viharas have become important modern psychological interventions like mindfulness and compassion-based therapies, gratitude practice, etc.

Wei Tatt is an avid photographer and host of a photography themed online programme which came about during the start of the Covid pandemic.
In 2007 Wei Tatt became of novice monk at the BMV under Bhante Mahinda’s as the spiritual teacher. The following year Wei Tatt had the unique opportunity to be be part of the Organising committee of the Aloka Novitiate Program in Bodhgaya where a record 300 participated.
